@ Sony Pictures.

Sony Pictures Entertainment contacted Sequence to create a short title sequence for Crackle's new original @ Sony Pictures. This Crackle exclusive gives viewers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the studio and what goes into creating some of Hollywood's heaviest hitters. Check it out here.

Crackle is Sony Picture Entertainment's multi-platform video network, which features high quality originals, as well as Sony's library of television and films. Sequence also built a short animation for Crackle's new rebrand – more on that soon!

New London Drugs Spots.

We've just completed animation of 3 London Drugs ads for Wasserman + Partners. When approached with the concept of a head filling with water we played with various scenarios but settled on RealFlow's fluid dynamics software. This was the only way of having finite control over the liquid, keeping a stylized look, and having realistic movement. Take a look!

New talent, new tech.

Sequence is proud to introduce its two newest members: Larry di Stefano and Eric Wada. Larry, who now handles the majority of our onlines, has worked on such notable films as the Corporation (post supervisor), Chocolat (assistant editor) and Love and Other Dilemmas (director). Eric joins as a skilled motion designer, technologically inclined with a sharp eye for animation. Eric is also fluent in Cinema 4D, helping bring Sequence into the world of true 3D animation.

We've also recently acquired an Avid Symphony Nitris DX to compliment our sony L230 monitor for the truest colour grading possible in uncompressed HD. Take this, add Larry and Eric to the mix, and you've got a happy Sequence.

I Am Legend DVD now available.

Death as a Gift is now available exclusively on the DVD release of I Am Legend. The animations were created at 1920x1080 to stand out on the HD Blu-ray release of the film. A beautifully illustrated work by Jason Chan, the story is of the last remaining survivor in Hong Kong and is written by Overbrook Entertainment's Dawn Thomas. Music by Tobias Tinker, animation by Caleb Bouchard and direction by Ian Kirby. View Death as a Gift.

Sequence is hiring.

We need motion designers! If you have an eye for animation and know the tools of the trade (Shake, After Effects,
Cinema 4D), feel free to drop us a line. We look forward to hearing from you!

TV spot for Metropolis (Spring).

We've just finished up animation on the first of three spots airing for Metropolis at Metrotown (Vancouver) with Traction Creative. Traction provided storyboards and audio, giving us free reign to bring their ideas to life. Two additional spots will be created for Summer and Fall.

Sequence moves to Gastown.

We've recently moved into a larger space in the heart of Gastown, Vancouver. The online room is large and inviting, complete with an Avid HD online system with HDCAM and a new Sony BVM-L230 for the most accurate colour grading possible. We invite all our friends and clients to drop by and take a look!

Mark Stuckert joins Sequence.

We've finally found a perfect fit for our team - Mark Stuckert. Mark brings with him a solid design background with experience in web, motion and print, and has worked with clients including Telus and Intrawest. An ECIAD grad, designer, artist and faux aquarium enthusiast, Mark adds new style and a seemingly endless database of internet content (both relevant and non) to Sequence.

Sequence launches new site.

We've finally made the time to launch a site we're proud of, complete with an in-depth portfolio section to browse previous motion design, print, visual effects, DVD mastering and interactive samples. A revised community section has links to friends and inspiration. Nicely executed with CSS so it will even work on your Blackberry.
