Sequence has been working away on a series of
"Batman: Black & White" short form digital
Motion Comics.
Check out the exciting news here.
We've just completed animation of 3 London Drugs ads for Wasserman + Partners. When approached with the concept of a head filling with water we played with various scenarios but settled on RealFlow's fluid dynamics software. This was the only way of having finite control over the liquid, keeping a stylized look, and having realistic movement. Take a look!
Spot #2 for Metropolis at Metrotown (Vancouver) is on the air! Once again, Sequence has teamed up with Traction Creative to deliver another perspective of "Shopping City". Take a look!
Sequence is proud to introduce its two newest members: Larry di Stefano and Eric Wada. Larry, who now handles the majority of our onlines, has worked on such notable films as the Corporation (post supervisor), Chocolat (assistant editor) and Love and Other Dilemmas (director). Eric joins as a skilled motion designer, technologically inclined with a sharp eye for animation. Eric is also fluent in Cinema 4D, helping bring Sequence into the world of true 3D animation.
We've also recently acquired an Avid Symphony Nitris DX to compliment our sony L230 monitor for the truest colour grading possible in uncompressed HD. Take this, add Larry and Eric to the mix, and you've got a happy Sequence.
Death as a Gift is now available exclusively on the DVD release of I Am Legend. The animations were created at 1920x1080 to stand out on the HD Blu-ray release of the film. A beautifully illustrated work by Jason Chan, the story is of the last remaining survivor in Hong Kong and is written by Overbrook Entertainment's Dawn Thomas. Music by Tobias Tinker, animation by Caleb Bouchard and direction by Ian Kirby. View Death as a Gift.
